Playgrounds: This photo was taken at dead horse point state park in Utah during a 30 km run throughout the park.

Walking with Water: This photo was taken in the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park in Utah. The name is inspired by the natural formation of these narrow corridors, shaped over thousands of years by water erosion. This slow, powerful process carved human-sized splits into the canyon walls, creating narrow passageways that a person can now walk through.
End of Day Stare: This photo was taken after completing what we called the "Kootenay Triathlon" — a self-powered adventure that combined ski touring, cycling, and climbing in one epic day. The journey involved over 1,100 meters of elevation gain on skis across 16 kilometers, a 60-kilometer bike ride along the Columbia River, and 8 pitches of rock climbing up a nearly 800-meter wall. By the time this photo was taken, exhaustion had fully set in — you can see it in the subject’s face. Every muscle ached, but there was also a quiet sense of accomplishment. It was the kind of day that tests your limits and reminds you why you seek them. If you're curious, there's a link to the documentary I made capturing the full story.

Beneath the Balance: This photo was taken at balanced rock in arches national park.

Suspended Between Two Worlds: This photo captures the essence of a free-hanging rappel—the surreal moment suspended between two worlds. There’s a weightlessness that comes not just from gravity, but from the quiet, the stillness, and the sheer scale of the landscape around you. For a brief moment, you're neither here nor there—dangling between the familiar ground above and the unknown terrain below. It’s a feeling of transition, of surrender, and of trust in the rope, the rock, and yourself.

Winter, Spring or Summer? : I love this photo of my friend skiing—it perfectly captures the contrast between the absurd and the epic. He's dressed in full summer beach attire, as if he's headed for a surf session, not dropping into a steep, technical ski line. The mismatch between his laid-back outfit and the seriousness of the terrain makes the image both hilarious and strangely bold. It’s a reminder that adventure doesn’t always have to look the part—sometimes, style and spirit matter more than gear.
